The birth of Lord Ganesha is celebrated with utmost enthusiasm all over the country on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Lord Ganesha is also known as 'Vighna Vinashaka,' which means the one who destroys and removes obstacles. Special students of Sparsh conducted a special activity on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi with great vigour and enthusiasm. Students beautifully echoed the presence of Ganesha by singing 'Ganpati Bappa Maurya.' Every home was transformed into a land of joy, happiness, and celebration. How a single festival could unite so many diverse people of India was made amply clear.
