SPECIAL STUDENTS CHANNEL THEIR INNER PEACE WITH A YOGA SESSION
Yoga heals the soul. It teaches you how to listen to your body. To encourage our special children to channel their inner peace and hone all good energies, we recently conducted a Yoga Session for them. The children surprised everyone with their quick mastery of various yoga techniques as well as tremendous improvement of basic motor, communicative and cognitive skills. The session also helped them develop greater concentration, balance and control in their day to day activities. Our main objective was also to bring about increased mental clarity, emotional stability and a greater sense of overall well-being among the children and this session truly aided us to do so.
