It is said that of all the senses, eyesight must be the most delightful but there are many people who are devoid of the beautiful gift of eyesight. Like many, Divya, an eight year old chirpy student at Sparsh Special School was also living in the dark but she didn't know the world around her is soon going to change with a dash of light. Partially blind, the joyful student possessed a strong desire to fight all odds that accompanied her disability and made the impossible happen at last.

Recently, she was taken to the trusted organization of Choithram Netralaya Comprehensive Eye Care Services that performs superlative research into the prevention and treatment of blindness in Indore. Here, her condition was studied by some experienced doctors and eye surgeons, who recommended a set of high power spectacles for the girl, not considering surgery the right option at such a young age. Now she can recognize people on looking clearly and walks slowly on her own without bumping as before.

With a big thanks to Mrs. Sapna Sukul for all the sincere efforts and cooperation in making this miracle happen, Divya's parents were delighted to see tremendous improvement in her condition. Now she has a better vision and her heart-warming way to trying to look at things she never saw seems like a ray of benevolent sunshine.
